Proto pat\u0159\u00ed tyto diody k hojn\u011b v praxi vyu\u017e\u00edvan\u00fdm p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm jako osv\u011btlen\u00ed. Diody sv\u011btlo vyza\u0159uj\u00ed v relativn\u011b \u00fazk\u00e9 \u010d\u00e1sti spektra, tj. jednobarevn\u011b. Laserov\u00e1 dioda Laserov\u00e1 dioda nebo polovodi\u010dov\u00fd laser obdobn\u00fd princip jako LED, tj. vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 PN p\u0159echodu, na n\u011bm se vyz\u00e1\u0159en\u00e1 energie m\u011bn\u00ed na sv\u011btlo. V tomto p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b se jedn\u00e1 o sv\u011btlo v\u00fdrazn\u011b u\u017e\u0161\u00edho spektra. Diody od TME \u0160irokou nab\u00eddku Schottkyho diod a \u0159ady dal\u0161\u00edch typ\u016f m\u016f\u017eete naj\u00edt u spole\u010dnosti TME. Polsk\u00e1 spole\u010dnosti pat\u0159\u00ed k p\u0159edn\u00edm dodavatel\u016fm sou\u010d\u00e1stek pro elektroniku a p\u0159idru\u017een\u00e1 odv\u011btv\u00ed. B\u011bhem sv\u00e9 historie trvaj\u00edc\u00ed ji\u017e od roku 1990 se vypracovala na post glob\u00e1ln\u00edho l\u00eddra, kter\u00fd si v\u0161ak st\u00e1le udr\u017euje vazby k domovsk\u00e9mu regionu st\u0159edn\u00edho Polska.
